Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Refuge Worker to support victims or those who are at risk of suffering domestic violence within a refuge provision.

Working for an organisation that delivers high quality services to victims of domestic abuse through the provision of support, advice and accommodation.

As a Refuge Worker your duties will include working across two refuge provisions, providing personal welfare support to women and children in the refuge, assessing the practical and emotional support needs of the victims, conducting support sessions regularly and group work for the children and ensuring the victims are provided with a safe and welcoming environment.

We are looking for a resilient and empathetic individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The successful candidate will have experience working in a refuge supporting people that have suffered domestic violence. A Full UK Driving License is essential.

This is a full time permanent position with a salary of £20,000 plus excellent benefits and development opportunities. This role is working Monday-Friday.
