Job Description

***We are currently recruiting for a Regional Business Support Assistant Administrator to work with one of our largest Public Sector clients. ***

The role is 5 weeks initially

Pay rate £10.29 per hour

Monday-Friday

37.5 hours per week (Between 8.30am - 5.30pm)
Based in Leicester, LE3 (Currently remote working)


As an Assistant Administrator your duties will include (but will not be limited to);

Provide administrative support to PMDE teams across the region with regard to all operational financial transactions .Be the main point of contact and liaise with the Recruitment and Programme Teams to resolve queries. Work with the Regional Education Business Support Manager to monitor payments and contracts in line with SFIs and organisation Procurement rules. To assist in implementing new regional processes to streamline the operational financial processes of the organisation. To liaise with the Heads of School for GP and GP practices to ensure that CPD and trainer grants are being paid promptly and within the correct financial year. Signposting queries where required.


In order to be a suitable candidate for this position you will have the following abilities;

o Clear communicator with excellent writing, data entry and presentation skills
o Ability to work under pressure in a busy working environment and able to multi-task
o Able to work on own initiative, organising and prioritising own and others workloads to changing and often tight deadlines
o An ability to maintain confidentiality and trust using a professional, calm and efficient manner
o Proven administrative / secretarial experience including initiating and maintaining office systems
o Demonstratable experience in dealing with the public and dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
o Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software programmes such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access
o Understanding of Confidentiality and Data Protection Act
o Educated to NVQ 3 level in a relevant subject or equivalent
