We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to join our Children's residential home care service in East Sussex.

Do you have experience working with children/young adults?
Do you NVQ level 5 in leadership and management or equivalent? Or are you willing to work towards a relevant management qualification?
Have you got residential management experience?
Do you hold a valid driver's licence?

Our client is dedicated to making a difference to the lives of disadvantaged children.

You are accountable for the delivery of all care services, as well as the planning for the developments within the home and all daily management matters.
As the registered manager you will be responsible for delivering childcare that is focused on gaining the best outcome for each young person and children within the home, you will also be expected to demonstrate leadership in childcare and to organise and support staff to provide the best care for the residents.

The ideal person will have the following experience, skills and attributes:
" NVQ level 5 (or willing to complete within first year of employment)
" Driver
" Experience working within residential service for young people
" Minimum of 2 years residential shift leading experience
" Minimum of 1 year's residential management experience
" Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
" Experience of managing and developing a staff team
" Knowledge of governing legislation, procedures in caring for looked after children
" Clean DBS

Hours:
Full time: 9:00 - 5:00pm (40 hours)
Salary:
£39,000-£45,000 - Depending on experience
Continuous training and development
