Job Description

I am looking for a registered care manager to join a recognised charity who provide information, advice and community care to local people with care needs and for those caring at home for a family member or friend.

This is a unique and rare opportunity for a Registered Care Manager to join this stable, respected and professional organisation has arisen due to internal growth and development.

You will effectively manage and develop new and existing services across the region.

The Care Manager role will require you to take the lead in the management of a multi-disciplinary staff team including senior managers. You will be responsible for
care and support staff working within the community who deliver high quality care services. In addition, the role will be to focus on meeting the Care Quality Commission outcomes and to secure an "outstanding" rating for the charity.

This position requires a strong, sensitive management style to support our customers who are caring for people within the community who may have a long term chronic or terminal illness.

To apply for this vacancy, you will be able to demonstrate a significant background within management for domiciliary care and respite services. You will have proven business and service development experience and be competent in deputising for the CEO in their absence. Suitably qualified with the QCF level 5 in leadership and management or equivalent, you will also hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.

Due to the nature of this role, you must be flexible to share the "on call" rota as required. Although not essential, a formal nursing qualification or experience of palliative care management and knowledge of clinical skills will benefit this role.
