Children`s Registered Manager

£30,507 - £36,876

37 hours per week

Are you a children`s Deputy Manager and feel your ready for the step up to Registered manager?

Or are you a Registered Manager Looking for a change in environment or not getting the support you need in your current role?

Then this is the role for you !!!

My Client is currently looking for a registered manager to join their team based in Bolton, They currently have 8 children residential settings in the Bolton area residential school, colleges and also an adults domiciliary care service. You will be the registered manager of one of the children's residential services reporting into the head of services.

Your role will be to ensure the smooth running of the day to day operations of the home making sure all staff and children are protected and are following all company policies. You will need to promote the welfare of children and young people to ensure they are fully protected from all harm, ensuring that the health and social well being of the children conforms to the children`s homes quality standards 2015.
You will need to be a confident and strong manager as you will be training up a deputy manager to follow your footsteps to help them with full development. Other duties for this role but are not limited to are;
>To have overall management responsibility for the designated home including covering Duty manager Rota
>Carry out organisational objectives in line with relevant legislation
>Carry out organisational and service objectives in line with Birtenshaw`s strategic development
>Objectives and as outlined in the service development plan for your service .
>Comply with the organisation's administrative and financial procedures
>Maintain accurate, well-kept and up-to-date records
>Fully utilise IT facilities and modern technology
>Promote Health and Safety at work
>Promote people's equality, diversity and rights
>Carry out duties in an appropriate and professional manner at all times

To be successful for this role you will need to meet the minimum criteria of;
> Level 3 children and young people and level 5 or be willing to work towards it.
>Minimum of 12 months experience in a management role within a children`s residential home this can be as a deputy manager.
>Have a good understanding of Ofsted.
