BS Social Care are currently recruiting for a Children and Young Persons Residential Registered Home Manager for a children and young person`s residential home within Corby, Northamptonshire. This is an organisation who is there to make a change around the common failures of children`s services which only effects the child(ren) within care.

About the company; this is a new company who own two homes and is currently in the process of a third home with the plan for more successful homes and potentially a school. This company holds 2 Directors and an Operations Manager with masses of children and other experiences which is the driving aspect as to why this company is going to do so well. About the job; this is a very exciting role for someone to be able to be part of a journey for a new company looking to be the best childrens service in the area. You will be overseeing 2 two bedded homes within walking distance of another working closely with Deputy Managers, RSW's, the Operations Manager and the Directors.

Your expertise and input will be invaluable in contributing to our ambitious plans to expand further within the next 18 months. By developing all those around you, you'll ensure that we're able to continue providing high quality, personalised care and support for our vulnerable. Your approach to work will be flexible and you will have exceptional communication skills to enable effective relationships with a range of other professionals. There is a great team in place, who are committed to making sure the young people they support get the best possible care and support.

About the ideal candidate; you should have a track record of supporting, managing and inspiring teams to provide an outstanding service. You will need to have relevant qualifications and experience that enables you to take up the role of a Registered Manager and be able to demonstrate an excellent ability to lead and develop your staff team. You will have substantial experience and skills in: managing and supervising a staff team, working in a residential setting with young people aged 8 -18yrs who demonstrate challenging behaviours, effective budget management, delivering personalised services, You will take responsibility for delivering high quality, personalised care and support to our young people; as well as leading, managing and developing the services offered in accordance with their specific needs. You will also be a driver with access to your own vehicle.

For this brilliant, new and exciting role, we will offer a salary between £35,000 - £40,000. You will be expected to work Monday - Friday and also have flexibility for meetings with families, professionals and so forth / spot checks / emergencies and so forth.
