Job Description

Are you a deputy or manager within childcare looking a new opportunity? Look no further! My client is recruiting for a Registered Children Home Manager within the Longton area!

Working for an excellent provider of Residential Childcare, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Manager to work in a very well established children home in Longton, a chance to be part of a highly successful organisation.

There are no complex needs or challenging behaviours involved within the home. All of the residents go to schools and have the correct education and are showing great development throughout.

The role will be to provide day to day management of 3 bedroom residential children home, adhering to the company policy & procedures and OFSTED regulations, staff recruitment and ensuring the general day to day smooth running of the home.

You will be able to make a real impact and work towards the company mission and values. Your ability to make a difference and proven track record of managing a residential children home will be key!

Ideally you will have minimum 2 year's experience of managing a residential home, hold diploma Level 5 in Leadership and Management and have a real passion and commitment to the role, Deputy Manager experience or Senior level experience within the last 5 years will also be considered. You will have a flexible approach to working, be committed and hold a full UK driving licence.

In return for your hard work and dedication, you will be offered a competitive salary between £32,000-36,000, plus benefits including pension scheme, annual leave entitlement of 28 days, mileage returned and an opportunity to work for a progressive organisation with exciting plans to develop.
