We are looking to recruit a Children's Home Mananger with relevant experience and knowledge of managing a service for children with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a 4 bed home in Godstone.

We are looking for somebody who is dynamic and passionate about providing care and advice to impressionable minds.

The ideal candidate will have:

-A minimum of 2 years experience of working with children in a residential setting within the last 5 years.
-A minimum of NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or Equivalent.
-Have or working towards NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management
-A Clear understanding of OFSTED regulations, safeguarding and working with other health care professionals.
-A Clean UK drivers license.

The right manager will be responsible for delivering childcare that is focused on obtaining the best outcomes for each young person. They will be expected to demonstrate practical leadership in childcare as well as organise and support staff. This will involve supervisions, mentoring and annual appraisals of staff. Organisation of work patterns, facilitation of care focused training, recruitment of staff and accessing of appropriate services to support the childcare practises within the home.
