** Registered Homes Manager - Corby, then Leicestershire 4570 **
** Corby, Northamptonshire **
** £32,000 - £35,000 **
** Permanent and full time **
** In our ambitious and exciting development trajectory, we are very excited to be planning a brand-new EBD or solo children's home in South Leicestershire for young people between the ages of 8 and 17. You will complete 6-9 months in Corby to complete induction and pass probation, to then move over to the Leicester area **

BS Social Care are currently recruiting for a Childrens Registered Home Manager to open a brand-new EBD or solo children's home in South Leicestershire for young people between the ages of 8 and 17. You will complete 6-9 months in Corby to complete induction and pass probation, to then move over to the Leicester area.

Substance abuse
Eating disorders
Sexual exploitation
Emotional and behavioural difficulties
Learning difficulties
Autism Spectrum Disorder
Complex needs (Solo/dual placement homes)

About the job;

To take total responsibility for the management of the care and therapy within the home and to provide the optimum caring and therapeutic environment for the young people. This care must be provided in accordance with National Minimum Standards (Children`s Homes 2010) together with Children`s Homes Regulations` 2001, as the bases for the regulatory framework under the Care Standards ACT 2002(CSA).

To meet and exceed the requirements of the Registering and Placing Authorities.

To achieve and exceed the expected professional standards.

To work to the principles and policies of the company.

About the ideal candidate; our ideal candidate must have experience working in a Deputy or Manager role at the least in a residential children's home, and the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare [or equivalent] or willingness to work towards this as a priority.
