Job Description

Are you an experienced manager with a passion for caring and supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs?

If so we may have the perfect opportunity for you!

We are looking for a Registered Manager for an adult learning disability and mental health residential home based in Birkenhead to take the reins and continue the success and development of this home.

You will be joining a well-established team and will be the responsible individual for a 17 bedded home which houses both males and females with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs and in some circumstances the residents may have other health needs such as a physical or sensory disability. The house is split over three floors and comprises of communal lounge areas, shared kitchens a garden, a sun room and the resident`s bedrooms. Part of the home is dedicated to developing life skills and promoting independence with a view to moving on to supported living whilst the other parts of this home

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience of managing learning disabilities/mental health residential homes as either a registered manager or a strong deputy manager`s role
- Hold a QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management
- Have an excellent understanding of service user`s needs and effective person-centred care/support
- Have a strong knowledge of CQC standards, regulations and legislations
- A passion for caring and developing your staff team

The pay rate for this role is £25000 per year and you will be required to work 40 hours per week mostly sticking to a 9:00-17:00 Monday - Friday schedule with the ability to be flexible around this should the needs of the service require it.

You will be enrolled onto a company bonus scheme once your 6-month probation period is over allowing you earn extra money in recognition for your hard work and achievements. You will also receive continuous training and development to equip you will all the knowledge and tools necessary to excel in this role.
