Registered Manager - Children's home

*Salary of up to £40k

Are you a registered manager or exceptional Deputy Manager for a children and young people`s residential service? Do you want to be part of an organisation that makes a difference? I have a Registered Manager opportunity in Leeds with immediate interviews available for the right candidate which could be you!

About our client:
Our client is the UK`s largest provider of specialist residential care services for children who have suffered sexual trauma. Based on over 25 years of working with some of the UK`s most severely traumatised children, our homes support children of abuse and exploitation.
Offering 91 holistic specialist placements across 19 homes that include DfE registered schools providing full time education.

The role:
To be the overall responsible person for the home. To ensure the safety of the young people in your care and have their best interests at heart making a comfortable, happy and safe environment. Ensure service users are receiving a personal care plan to suit their needs and all paperwork is kept up-to-date. Keep on top of staffing, training and budgets. Have a happy staff team that are approachable, making sure they are providing the best care they can. Always make sure shifts are covered including covering emergency shifts if required. Other duties and responsibilities will apply but throughout everything the main concern is the young people in your care.

Requirements:
* must hold a clean, full UK drivers license
* must be over 21 years of age
* must have experience in a similar setting
* diploma level 5 children and young people workforce or NVQ equivalent or working towards
* relevant management qualification
* must have OFSTED experience
