I am currently seeking a proactive and compassionate leader to oversee the operational management of an Extra Care service in Stoke for a large care organisation that provide care, support and housing across the West and East Midlands.
The service has a staff team of 30 members of staff which you will manage and supports 45 clients that are over 65 years of age and have a variety of needs. The service is also rated GOOD with CQC.
You will ensure the delivery of a person-centred and empowering service which meets the needs of the clients. Furthermore you will work with the housing provider and service users' families and friends to promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the service. You must be flexible, energetic and reliable with a well-organised approach to staff deployment and service delivery.
You must have significant management experience in relevant health or social care service provision alongside a warm, person-centred and respectful approach. An understanding of CQC quality requirements and care standards is essential. You should have a relevant professional qualification and/or a degree level qualification. This is a full time role, 37.5hrs per week.
For your hard work and commitment you can expect a salary of around £31,000 as well as added benefits such as private pension plans, free eye care and generous holiday allowance.
