Job Description

I have an exciting opportunity available for a registered manager to join an established residential service providing care and support for older adults with dementia.

You will become a pivotal part of an organisation that has a handful of homes catering for older adults. You will manage a 30 plus bedded service on the outskirts of Birmingham City centre. This service offers great access to public transport and local amenities and is rated GOOD with CQC.

As registered manager, you will oversee the operational day to day running of the service. You will be supported by a deputy manager, team leader and a competent team of care staff.

Your role will involve all elements of care and support planning, staff recruitment, training and supervisions and liaising with external agencies. You will be driven, motivated and committed to delivering high quality care and support, promoting choice and independence and ensuring quality and compliance.

A highly professional individual with a "can do" attitude and a real passion for care, you will inspire and motivate your staff team to promote dignity and deliver care that epitomises both CQC and company guidelines.

To be considered for the role of registered manager, you will be able to demonstrate a proven background as within a managerial capacity for CQC regulated services (deputy managers looking to take on their first registered manager role will be considered) and have actively worked within a residential setting for older adults, especially those with dementia. You will possess a relevant care management qualification and be flexible to cover "on call" as required.
You will play a key part in marketing the service and increasing occupancy, so you will need excellent networking skills and experience, and be able to think outside the box in terms of marketing and securing referrals.

In return for your extensive knowledge and experience, you will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary, which will increase on successful registration with CQC. You will also receive a competitive annual leave allowance and ongoing training.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, please forward your CV without further delay or apply online
