We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Childrens Home manager to oversee and develop a 4 bedded children's residential service within the East Lancashire Area.
This residential home has high aspirations for the children that it supports and is an established service. The home has a staff team with a Deputy Manager, 3 Senior Residential Support Workers, and 3 Residential Support Workers, in addition to a casual staff team.
You will have had experience of managing a residential children's service or are looking to step up from a deputy manager position currently. We are looking for a Registered Manager who understands the challenges that this role brings but also understands the rewards. You will have the vision and leadership to take this home forward with the backing and support from your RI, in addition to a supportive head-office team covering referrals, finance, HR , maintenance, IT and recruitment which is all done in-house.
The ideal candidate will hold knowledge around the needs of children and young people with EBD and the support services required to ensure their needs are fully met. Hold a minimum of a NVQ3 in Children and Young People's Workforce or QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare and a Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification is advantageous but not essential.
