Salary: From £30,000-40,000 pa
Location: Isle of Wight

I am Recruiting for a Manager to head the team of a leading care provider who is registered for 18 beds and specialises in Learning Difficulties. You will be a part of a growing group of companies that run Residential Care homes in dispersed geographical locations. The ethos of the company is to provide high quality care, where residents feel like they are living in their own homes.

We have a friendly and with staff who love what they do. The Nominated Individual and the Board of directors are very committed in supporting the Manager. This is an opportunity for an ambitious candidate to run a top quality service and with a remit for business development in the mid term. The role is also well supported with a capable Deputy Manager. We offer an attractive performance related Bonus package, designed for a competent manager to easily achieve. You can also benefit from a relocation package.

Reporting to the NI and Board of Directors, you will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring compliance in the homes as well as maintaining occupancy levels. You must have extensive experience working within a Residential LD setting with a proven track record. The ideal candidate for this position would have a passion and keen interest in Learning difficulties and care. You must be able to demonstrate strong leadership and relationship building skills and have a management qualification in care.

Qualifications and Experience:
At least 2 Years of experience as a Registered Manager in a Residential Care Setting - preferably LD
QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Adult services)
Level 5 in Health and social care would be an advantage
Registered Nurses (RGN/RMN/RNLD) will also be considered.
