Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled, pro-active and care focused registered manager to join a leading care provider based in the West Midlands. My client specialises in the provision of care and support for adults with learning disabilities, specifically adults who have an Autism diagnosis.

As registered manager, you will be required to oversee three small residential services in the BIRMINGHAM region ensuring that a quality care and support is delivered under the guidance of company and CQC policies and procedures.

You will work closely within a multi-disciplinary staff team to ensure the service is operated in a person-centred manner and that service users are empowered to live as rewarding a life as possible.

All services are rated GOOD with CQC, so, as registered manager you will have the passion and drive to accelerate these ratings to OUTSTANDING.

The registered manager will be required to share on-call duties and possibly deputise in the absence of their manager.

To apply for this post, the successful candidate will have a proven background managing services for adults with learning disabilities, have extensive knowledge of Autism and hold the level 5 in leadership and management for care services or equivalent.

A full UK driving licence is an essential requirement for this vacancy, as are excellent communication and organisational skills.

In return for your outstanding knowledge, you will be rewarded with a salary circa £31000 and an enhanced annual leave allowance, as well as on going personal and professional development and genuine career progression opportunities. Several health and well-being benefits will also be extended to you.
