We are currently recruiting for a registered manager for their residential home in Boston Spa who provide a learning disability service for five people with complex needs. The home has an established team of caring and dedicated workers who are committed to providing high quality social care support.

As a leader you must provide good information, advise and advocacy to help people make informed choices. you will build a high performance team promoting the profile of the trust in a corporate way internally and externally. Developing and maintaining relationships with residents, families and local authorities. Provide on call cover as required by organisation.

Being knowledgeable of health and social care, confident, enthusiastic, having a proactive and positive attitude, being an effective communicator, a person who always demonstrates high standards. Good organisation and be able to motivate and work with others to achieve goals.

Level 5 diploma in leadership for NVQ or ealier qualification such as level 4 NVQ in leadership and management for care services (LMCS) or registered managers award (RMA) or a commitment to achieve within 18 months.
-experience of supporting with disabilities.
-proven experience of managing a team, prioritising work and dealing with pressures.
-pproven previous experience of caring/supporting responsibilities either in a professional or personal capacity
