I am currently working with a leading provider of housing, residential and supported living services that support adults with learning disabilities, mental health, and complex needs. They have been a market leader in their sector for over 60 years and support over 10,000 people.

A fantastic opportunity as arisen for a registered manager to join their services in Kings Heath, Birmingham. The service is a 6 bed, good rated CQC service that supports those with mental health, learning disabilities and complex needs.

Your responsibilities will consist of managing staff within the service, leading the team from the front and deliver a high level of care and support, ensuring the service is safe, effective, and caring. To complete service users' assessments as well as updating their placements and referrals if needs be.

You will also need to report to the senior management team and product reports, facts and findings as well as identifying anything else in service that may need addressing.

To be successful within this role you must have a minimum of 2 years working in the care industry. Experience of working collaboratively and effectively with partner organisations. Have knowledge of social care and CQC legislation. At least 2 years relevant experience in an operational management capacity in a health and social care setting including the management of a dispersed team.

Knowledge of working with those with learning disabilities and a minimum of a NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care and the desire to complete your NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
