Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of a well know and reputable client who are looking for a registered manager to join a small residential home in Powys. This is a full-time position at 37.5 hours a week. We are looking for someone with good leadership skills who is excellent at problem solving and can handle challenging situations well. About the role

  • Ensuring high standards of care are always implemented
  • Communicate and engage effectively with residents, families, professionals, and staff
  • Be familiar with and manage staff sickness, training, development, and recruitment
  • Leading and supporting the home to ensure the environment is positive for staff and service users
  • Promoting person centred care by planning individual care and activity packages for the residents.

To be considered for this role

  • You will already be employed as a registered or deputy manager in a nursing or residential setting
  • The current home you work in will have a good inspection report
  • You will be a great problem solver and thrive in a challenging environment
  • Good knowledge of CIW standards of care
  • A QCF level 5 or working towards
  • A strong knowledge and passion for person centred care
