Job Description

Registered manager required to manage and oversee a residential service for adults with learning disabilities, sensory impairments, and physical disabilities the Wolverhampton area.

As registered manager, you will lead by example and be committed to driving forward high-quality care and support for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. You and your team will promote choice, independence, and support service users to achieve their life goals.

You will be committed to quality assurance and will effectively lead and inspire your team to deliver the highest quality of person-centred care and support. As with all managerial roles, you will oversee supernumerary tasks such as care and support planning, finance management, recruitment, and training.

Applications are being considered from candidates who have excellent organisation and communication skills, a "can do" attitude and are committed to the delivery of high-quality care. Excellent relationships and a network of contacts with the local authority and other healthcare professionals would be advantageous.

You will also be able to demonstrate a significant background supporting adults with learning disabilities and possess a strong working knowledge of CQC policies, procedures, and guidelines. You will be able to offer flexibility, have great decision-making skills and maintain calm and resilient within challenging situations. You will hold or be working towards a formal care qualification such as the level 5 in leadership and management.

Due to the nature of the role, all applicants must hold a FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE and have access to their own vehicle.
