Job Description

I am currently working with a leading provider of housing, residential and supported living services that support adults with learning disabilities, mental health, and complex needs. They have been a market leader in their sector for over 60 years and support over 10,000 people.


They are currently looking to recruit a registered manager to oversee their 5-bed residential service for adults with learning disabilities in North Shropshire.

You will be responsible for the operational day-to-day management of this small, yet home service, ensuring continued compliance with relevant legislation. Working in partnership with colleagues in the senior management team you will ensure the provision of a high-quality service enabling individual needs and organisational priorities to be met in accordance with available resources.

Your duties will consist of but not be limited to:


o Ensuring the delivery of person-centred care/support services that promote independence, choice, and dignity to empower people to live as independently as possible.


o The development of robust systems and procedures.

o Ensuring the service is appropriately resourced with the right number of suitably qualified, skilled, and experienced staff.

o Ensuring all new referrals are responded to in a timely manner in line with contractual and organisational timescales.

o Overseeing the co-ordination of care workers across all areas.

o Delivering services that ensure the Organisation's duty of care to the service user and staff providing the service.
