Are you an experienced Registered Manager with experience within a residential children`s home?
We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to manager a home based in Cheadle. The service is a 9 bedded home that support young people aged 4 - 14 years.
You will be working for a social enterprise that offers fostering, education and residential care. They support young people that have experienced trauma. They look after all the needs of the young people which include emotional, behavioural, social and development needs.
You will be managing a service which is currently home to 7 young people however there is room for up to 9 young people. Often the young people at this service will be quiet challenging with their behaviour and often have experienced psychological trauma. You will need to be able to lead a team to ensure they are providing the best care and support possible.You will manage your team to allow them to develop personally and achieve their own career goals. The main objective of the role though is to achieve positive outcomes for the children at the home. You will be working with a number of outside agencies to help you achieve these outcomes.
Ideally you will already be a registered manager that is looking for a new challenge. You will want to have a service that you can make a real difference to and that you can bring some exciting and new ideas to make it even better than it already is. You will need to have experience working with Ofsted. You will have needed to have completed Level 5 in Leadership and management.
This is a full time role with a salary between £37,000 - £42,000 with the opportunity to earn an additional £900 per month bonus.
