Salary: £55,000 per annum + overtime opportunities

Are you an experienced Registered Manager or a strong Deputy ready to step up?
We are recruiting for a Registered Manager to lead a well-established 3-bed children's residential home in Erdington, supporting young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable service with a Good Ofsted rating, where you can make a real difference to young people's lives while leading a dedicated team.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the home, ensuring:
- High-quality, child-centred care is delivered at all times
- The home remains fully compliant with Ofsted and Children's Homes Regulations (2015)
- Staff are effectively supported, supervised, and developed
- Safeguarding is always at the forefront of practice
- The home continues to improve and achieve positive outcomes for young people
You will lead from the front, creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of the home
- Lead, motivate, and develop the staff team
- Ensure safeguarding, risk management, and care planning are robust
- Maintain compliance and prepare for Ofsted inspections
- Build strong relationships with local authorities and external professionals
- Monitor performance, quality, and service delivery
What We're Looking For
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People) or working towards
- Experience within children's residential care
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding
- Confident leadership and decision-making skills
- Passion for improving outcomes for children and young people
