Registered Manager - Children's Residential Home (Ofsted)

£60,000-£65,000 | Full-Time | Permanent
Local Care Limited is looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead the registration, launch and ongoing management of a brand-new 4-bed Ofsted-regulated children's home supporting young people aged 8-17 with EBD.
This is a unique opportunity to build a service from the ground up, recruit your own team and drive the home towards an Outstanding Ofsted rating.
Key Responsibilities
- Register and open the home with Ofsted.
- Lead, motivate and develop the staff team.
- Ensure outstanding care and safeguarding for children.
- Maintain compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Build strong relationships with Local Authorities and external professionals.
- Manage budgets, occupancy and service performance.
Essential Requirements
✔ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
✔ Experience within an Ofsted-regulated children's home
✔ Strong knowledge of safeguarding and children's legislation
✔ Experience leading staff teams and preparing for Ofsted inspections
✔ Full UK Driving Licence
