Registered Manager - Children's Residential Home
Knowle / Coleshill, Birmingham
£60,000 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to lead the registration and development of a children's residential home within a growing care organisation.
We are seeking a passionate and quality-driven leader with a proven track record of achieving positive Ofsted outcomes and delivering exceptional care for children and young people.
The Role
- Lead the day-to-day management of the home.
- Take ownership of Ofsted registration and ongoing compliance.
- Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
- Recruit, manage and develop a high-performing staff team.
- Drive positive outcomes for children and young people.
- Maintain excellent standards of safeguarding, care planning and quality assurance.
- Build strong relationships with local authorities and external professionals.
- Support service development and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
- Previous experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager within children's residential care.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings.
- Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and safeguarding requirements.
- Experience leading teams and driving service improvements.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
