I am working with an independent provider who values their staff team and the people they support. They have consistently been recognised by CQC for delivering excellent quality care and are now, due to an internal move, are looking for their next registered manager to deliver outstanding care and support.
Employed on a full time basis, you will oversee the day to day running of a medium sized, modern service that supports adults with learning disabilities and associated mental health needs, with behaviours that may prove challenging, in the heart of Leicester.
Team management, recruitment, person-centred care and support planning and marketing the service to maintain maximum occupancy will all form part of your registered manager role.
You will also be responsible for audits, medication, staff training and recruitment, the management of HR issues and maintaining accurate records.
A professional, driven, motivated and compassionate registered manager, who has a stable job history and extensive experience of managing a similar service would be perfect for this role.
It ESSENTIAL that all applicants have:
* A formal care management qualification
* Extensive experience managing services for adults with a learning disability and/or mental health diagnosis (including residential and supported living care)
* Good computer skills
* Flexibility to share the "on call" rota
