We are looking to recruit a Registered Manager for a Children's home in Horley. We are looking for somebody who is dynamic and passionate about providing care and advice to impressionable minds.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience of working with children in a residential setting.
- Have or working towards NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management
- A Clear understanding of OFSTED regulations, safeguarding and working with other health care professionals.
- Can work 40 Hours a week and one night a month doing a Waking Night.
In return you will receive:
- £35,000 - More depending on experience.
The right manager will be responsible for delivering childcare that is focused on obtaining the best outcomes for each young person. They will be expected to demonstrate practical leadership in childcare as well as organize and support staff. This will involve supervisions, mentoring and annual appraisals of staff. Organisation of work patterns, facilitation of care focused training, recruitment of staff and accessing of appropriate services to support the childcare practises within the home.
