Registered Manager opportunity- service for Adults with learning disability and autism.
Location: Morecambe, Lancashire

THE ROLE:

  • This opportunity will be to cover maternity for a 9 month period, which then will lead to a permanent Field based manager role.
  • To lead and manage a team within a residential setting for adults with a learning disability and autism.
  • To be part of a professional and person centred organisation who strive to provide the highest quality of care for the individuals being supported.
  • Ensuring all staff are provided with their training and development plans, staff management, rotas, support planning.
  • To lead and motivate the team to ensure they provide the best possible outcomes for the people being supported and in a person centred way.
  • Attend and chair meetings, liaising with other professionals and agencies.
  • Adhere to internal policies and procedures and work within CQC legislation and frameworks demonstrating key knowledge around frameworks and CQC principles.

ABOUT YOU:

  • A strong leader with experience of managing services for people with learning disability, autism, mental health, challenging behaviours.
  • Proactive, self motivated and with a can -do and positive approach to your daily work
  • Honest and integrity and with the ability to lead and manage a team effectively to achieve positive outcomes
  • Flexible to work on a rota basis where needed and with some travel to other sites if required.
  • Level 5 in Leadership & Management or willingness to complete this.
