Job Description

I currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered manager to join an established and award winning team for an established 20 bed residential home in Handsworth, Birmingham. They provide high quality care and support to adults of working age with enduring mental health needs such as schizophrenia, mental delusions, and personality disorder.

A skilled, care focused individual, you will already be working within a similar setting and have a passion for the delivery of person-centred care and support. Ideally, you will have already managed a successful, compliant service which focuses on the provision of care and support for adults with a mental health diagnosis. Within this role, you will be responsible for all operational day to day responsibilities of running the home, deliver person centred care as required and ensure that all occupancy is maintained.

Furthermore, you will be involved in all elements of recruitment and retention of staff, producing and amending care and support plans and developing a working atmosphere which will promote choice and independence.

You will also hold the NVQ 4 in health and social care, RMA or QCF Level 5 in leadership and management for health and social care. A driven, motivated, and compassionate individual, you will lead by example and be able to remain calm within a challenging environment. You must have a proven background managing mental health services for adults. Or be an RMN.

In return for your excellent knowledge and experience, you will benefit from a competitive salary and annual leave allowance, as well as the opportunity to earn an easily achievable bonus based on achieving KPIs.
