Job Description

This is a role for someone who has worked in the care sector for many years which has allowed them to grow their experience, knowledge and understanding of policies and procedures. BS Social Care is currently recruiting for a Registered Manager to work within a large care organisation overseeing the quality of care, general running of the residential home, service users and the staff in Rushden, Northamptonshire.

About the employer; this employer has specialist teams across the UK providing support to adults with a variety of needs including; acquired brain injuries, learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and mental health. They offer supported living, residential care, short breaks and respite services and employ over 10,000 staff consisting of Support Workers, Scheme Managers, Service Manager, Registered Manager and more.

About the job; as the Registered Manager you will support the service users and the staff to ensure that all care is being carried out, that all staff are gaining the support and progression when desired and that all is running as smoothly as possible put the service users and the staff at the priority of your role. You will ensure you're meeting CQC standards and the registration of the service. Ensuring you're supporting and managing the development, operational, financial and administrative functions.

About the ideal candidate; you will need to hold a Level 5 in Health and Social Care and Leadership and Management alongside a minimum of two years experience in a Registered Manager position where you held the registration with CQC. You will need to be able to demonstrate experience in health and social care and be able to manage a number of staff members and experience within the learning disability sector. You will need to be a driver with access to a car.

For this role, you will be offered a salary of £28,000 alongside benefits as follows; Employee Assistance Programme, Above and Beyond Recognition Award, Long Service Award, future training opportunities, comprehensive induction - Care Certificate, hourly rate enhancements, annual leave, pension, rewards and more. You will be working on a rota pattern across and 7 days, 37.5 hours a week between the hours of 9am-5pm. Although waking nights are not part of your weekly hours, you may need to cover them on an emergency basis ensuring the service hours a re always covered by the appropriate number of staff.
