Job Description

Job Title: Registered Manager
Salary: £38,000
Location: Liverpool
Working hours: 09:00-17:00 Mon-Fri (with option to work over 4 days and 1 day from home)

BS Social Care have partnered up with a leading care provider in Liverpool and are looking for a Registered Manager to join their team. The Registered Manager will be responsible for a solo home with one child/young person. This is a perfect role for a previous/current registered manager looking for a change in career or deputy manager looking to make that next step in their career.

What we look for:
- Level 3 or 5 in Leadership and Management
- 2 years' experience working with children and young people within a residential environment including 1 year at senior level
- Experience managing a staff team
- Excellent knowledge of Ofsted compliance and ensuring the home is compliant with company policies and procedures
- Knowledge of child development and appreciation of the needs of children and young people
- Knowledge of Ofsted's quality standards and childrens homes regulations

Job role:
- Must be willing to go above and beyond, ensuring the child has an experience of childhood that they can carry into adulthood
- Ensure that the home is providing a therapeutic, healthy and caring environment to an exceptional standard
- Ensure each young person's residential experience is bespoke to their individual needs
- Managing of budgets
- Manage a team of care staff/support workers
- Follow Ofsted Compliance regulations
