Job Description

** Children`s Home Registered Manager **
** Permanent and full time **
** Southport, Lancashire **
** Working within a 3 bedded EBD residential home **
** Well established organisation **

I am currently working with an excellent children's service who are now recruiting for a Children`s Home Registered Manager within a residential setting caring for 3 young people with EBD.

About the job; the Registered Manager will have responsibility for the direct management of the children and young people and the management of the staff teams that support these children and young people to ensure that the highest standards of care are in place. To meet and promote the needs of the young people and provide opportunities to advance their opportunities and life experience in a positive manner. They will lead in the maintenance and development of the staffing team, recruitment, supervisions, and appraisals. In addition to ensuring the home is run correctly and will hold responsibility to quality assure that care is delivered and meet the quality standards of OFSTED requirements. They will be expected to have the flexibility to be able to work some shifts meet the needs of the children, fulfilling all health and safety requirements. They will provide part of the on-call service for the children`s homes alongside the management team and will have allocated on call days for which they are responsible.

About the ideal candidate;

Relevant experience as a Registered Manager in childcare setting.
Have a good understanding of regulations and requirements.
Ideally you will hold a Level 5 in Management or be willing to complete.
Ideally you will be a driver due to the nature of the role, but this is not essential.
Passion and drive to carry out the best work possible.
Honesty, integrity and reliability.
Be able to use own initiative when required.
To be able to make this home you know children deserve.

This is a full time position of 37.5 hours per week with a wonderful salary ranging from £35,000-£45,000 dependent on experience.
