Registered Mental Health Nurse
Registered General Nurse
Halifax
Full and Part-time hours

Are you a qualified RMN or RGN with NMC registration? Do you have a good understanding of care plans and named nursing systems?

This is a 17 bed service for adults with mental health illness, We also have a four bed house attached with facilities to offer more independent living and there are also two independent living bungalows for people who are able to live independently with support.

Criteria-
Nursing Qualification & Registration with NMC.
At least 6 months experience

The place of work-
Right now, our care home in Halifax, is looking for someone like you to join the team. We do things differently here - we concentrate on recovery and rehabilitation and a key part of your role will be to look at therapeutic interventions that will enable the people who use our services to gain increasing independence and develop their full potential. You will also be expected to supervise volunteers and less experienced staff.

Ideally with some nursing experience in a residential environment or related field, you`re used to carrying out practical duties and supervising others and are committed to ensuring that the service provided is of a consistently high quality.

The ability to prioritise and plan work and deal effectively with personal stress is also essential, as is a desire to further develop your skills.
What`s more, you will have excellent communication and team working skills and are comfortable being part of a flexible rota system that includes weekends, evenings and waking nights.

Hours
Full time hours are 37.5 hours per week. Actual pattern of working hours to be determined with your line manager as per the operational requirements of the rota to provide full cover. This may include some unsocial hours including waking nights, evening and weekend work, working on bank holidays, on-call and other shift work arrangements.

Contributory pension scheme upon completion of three months` service.
Non-contributory life assurance policy (to value of 3 x annual salary).
Additional shift payment
£60.80 per sleep over.
