** Permanent and part time of 20 hours per week however bank shifts are available **

BS Social Care is currently working with a large care employer who is recruiting for a Registered Mental Health Nurse within the Ipswich area of Suffolk. This is a part time permanent role however a bank shift contract is available. A £2,000 joining bonus will be given alongside a relocation package of £3,000 if the move is more than 100 miles and up to £1,500 if the move is less than 100 miles.

About the job; duties will include supporting their young people in maintaining their physical health, mental health and overall wellbeing through monitoring, recording and reporting observations in these areas. The successful candidate will be expected to attend appointments in the community, LAC reviews, CPAs, professionals meetings and to liaise with the community team outside of meetings.

Responsibilities will include being a named Nurse to one or two young people and taking the lead in supporting key children with their health, safety and wellbeing. You will do this by working alongside keyworkers, developing and writing care plans, risk assessments, reports and having regular nursing one to one sessions.

15:00 - 23:00
08:00 - 20:00
09:00 - 21:00

About the ideal candidate; you will be a Registered Nurse with a current NMC pin, have a full driving license, you will be patient, sociable and empathetic, in order to establish good relationships with our young people based on confidence, trust, understanding and mutual respect. You will also be prepared to deal with challenging behaviour which may be exhibited by a young person at any time for any number of reasons.

This is a permanent and part time role working 20 hours per week, however, a bank shift contract can be offered. You will received a FTE salary of £30,000 alongside being part of a company that invests in you and your team for personal and professional development, reward and discount schemes,
