Registered Service Manager - Stockdales
Residential for children and adults with mental health and learning disabilities.
A management role assisting the Chief Executive and Senior management Team to maintain and improve the scope,quality and quantity of care provided to all those who access Stockdales.Service Manager will be required to complete person centred assessments of need in line with promoting independence, empowering individuals and effective risks management.
Services are provided to vulnerable adults over a 24 hour period within a residential setting or community based setting.The Service Manager will work within a dedicated service area but will also be required to support the development of the service as a whole. Employees should note that they may be required to change their work place base and work in other appropriate departments across the Stockdales service in line with service need and personal development.
The role is both administrative and also involves direct support of the children and adults we support. The employee will need to be confident, willing and able to support service users with all aspects of personal care and any other support they need.
Experience of working with children and adults with physical and learning disabilities, experience of managing staff,experience of assessing the needs of vulnerable people.
Level 5 QCF in care or equivalent or higher, Full driving license with own car, An IT qualification such as ECDL or equivalent is required or significant relevant IT experience.
£30,000 - £31,000 - Up to 33 days holiday per year pro rata inclusive of bank holidays - Health care benefits are provided by the company Simply health after one year qualifying service
