Job Description

Registration Officers required 6th June 2022.

If you're a motivated and adaptable individual you could be a valuable addition to the Overseas Healthcare Services Registration team within the NHS BSA.

Responsibilities:

As a member of the team, you will process health care entitlement applications received by email and post and work as a second line assessor for applications which cannot be managed within the contact centre.

You will examine and interpret confidential applications quickly, accurately, and fairly. We will make sure you have all the training you need to enable you to comply with agreed procedures, policy, and technical instructions.

What is on offer?

Hourly rate - £10.40 per hour

Home working - with full IT provided (must live within around 30 miles of Newcastle) - This role is predominantly working from home with a requirement to attend one of our site locations if required.

The contract is for 37 hours a week, based on a Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am to 6pm. Shifts can be flexible between these hours.

Training - An excellent structured training programme to allow you to maximise your full potential - hours of training will generally be around 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Requirements:

Relevant identification documents and the last 3 years of references will need to be provided as soon as an offer is made, so this can be taken forward as quickly as possible.

Relevant experience that includes Administration & Data entry & use of in house systems.

Please note that the role within the Overseas Healthcare Services Registration Team is a temporary position due to the seasonality of the work, but you will be offered the role on a multi-skilled basis which allows you the opportunity to move to a similar role within an alternative team or department at the end of your time with this team, pursuing your career within the NHS!
