Job Description

We are looking for a team leader to join our client the Ministry of Justice. This will be part of the Registrations team at Bradford Tribunal Courts in Bradford

If you have experience of leading a team, are well organised & have strong communication skills, then this may be the role for you

This is also a great opportunity to get yourself established within the civil service!

  • Hybrid working, 2 days in the office, 3 at home
  • Location: Phoenix House, Thornbury, Bradford (BD3)
  • Hours: Full time - Monday - Friday - 37 hours a week - 9-5 (can be flexible around these hours)
  • Payrate: £13.01 per hour (Annually £25,031)
  • Assignment length: Temporary until the end of August 2022 (this will most likely be extended and will be long term)

About the role

  • Manage and plan the workload of a team which provides administrative support and excellent customer service to all stakeholders, judiciary and management.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff, ensuring that its members are organised, and fully skilled to meet their work objectives, using Lean TIBs, SOPs and other continuous improvement tools.
  • To assist in the delivery of performance against targets.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong leadership skills
  • Great communication both verbal and written
  • Leads by example, be someone their team can trust
  • Have good organisational skills
  • Confidence in using all Microsoft packages (excel, word, teams)
  • Experience in managing a busy email inbox
  • Confident with dealing senior stakeholders
  • Strong customer service as may be dealing with appellants

Desirable:

  • Project Management knowledge or experience
  • Civil Service experience
