Rent Arrears Assistant

Job Description

Brook Street is currently looking for a Full Time, Rent Arrears Assistant for a client in the Cambridgeshire area, experience in debt recovery or housing management is a must to join them on a temporary basis for initially 6 weeks with potential to extend.

The client is a large company that is based in the Cambourne area, with on-site parking available.

The role requires you assisting in the administration and collection of all rent owed to the Company, and to deal with this efficiently and effectively with the tenant's enquiries.
In addition to this, you will be ensuring all transactions have been properly accounted for and debit correctly raised using established procedure.
Also, you will be successfully negotiating repayment arrangements with tenants in arrears and take swift action against non-payers and dealing with refunds ensuring payments are allocated correctly to maintain accurate balances.

The ideal candidate is someone that can work under pressure, self-motivated, organised, confident and can work well within a team.


It is essential you have previous experience in a revenue collection environment, with ability to work accurately and to tight deadlines.

The length of the contract is 6 weeks initially but potential to extend. The hourly pay rate is £11.10 an hour with the start date of 13/05/19, A full time position 37 hours a week.
