Rent Officer: 12 Months FTC

The ideal candidate will have experience working with in a housing firm and strong knowledge of Universal Credit.
We are seeking a motivated individual with a proven track record in delivering high quality customer focused income management services to join the Income Services Team on a fixed term basis.
The successful candidate will be assisting the organisation in maximising its income and will play a major role in ensuring the team achieves its income targets and delivers a three-star service to customers. The post holder will be responsible for; monitoring current tenants rent accounts, contacting customers to negotiate re-payments. A crucial element of this role will be to assist tenants in maximising their income by offering basic welfare benefit, money and debt advice.
It is essential that applicants have experience of income recovery preferably in a social housing environment and are able to use a wide range of IT packages. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in successfully responding to individual customer needs and developing strong links with partner agencies such as DWP, housing benefit.
Experience of dealing with customers on Universal Credit would be desirable.

37 Hours Per week
Fixed Term Contract for 12 months.
