Job Description

A Lloyds market Underwriters in the heart of the City insurance district are recruiting for an experienced Reporting Accountant to join their team

They are looking for applicants who are either fully qualified or nearly fully qualified with previous experience ideally within the Lloyds Insurance market however they will consider applicants with experience in a similar Insurance or other financial services company

You will be reporting into the Group Accountant and will work as their deputy/cover when they are out of the office

Some of your duties will also include:
Assisting with the development of the recently introduced Sun system for their syndicate and group accounting
Assist with the production and control of financial records for annual financial statements and liaising with auditors
Management of 2 Accounts Assistant
preparation of Trial Balances for Syndicate Accounts
Overseeing maintenance of Group cashbooks


They need someone with very strong communications skills who has worked within an FCA regulated environment in a similar role
