Job Description
Process Officer Full Time Role Mon - Friday 9-5pm
Duration - 06 Months- Possible Extension with subject to performance
Pay Rate - 9.90 GBP
Location- NHS SBS Sheffield - Woodseats House, 764A Chesterfield Road, Sheffield S8 0SE
IClearance process - Required - DBS
To provide a transaction processing service to one or a number of clients, delivering specialist services which involve the choice and application of diverse processes, systems and techniques or for supervising staff delivering a broad range of services.
- Whilst they do not have line management responsibilities over Process Assistants, their greater experience means that they can/should lead by example.
- This experience means that they are either deployed onto inherently more complex transactions; they may also provide first point of escalation on non-standard events where the Process Assistant lacks the experience to resolve.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Advise and mentor process assistants and handle more complex pieces of work.
- Train and coach new members.
- Undertake quality assurance for the team's work within own area of expertise and provide feedback to the team.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and update of procedures and flow of information to process assistants.
- Keep own knowledge of procedures up to date.
- Run reports, extract data and analyze the data, as the service requires, often using spreadsheets and statistical techniques
- Measure performance of the process assistants and feedback to operations management in own area.
- Respond to, and resolve queries, taking action as appropriate and identify any preventative measures.
- Support line manager and team members (training/coaching) as required.
- Update/maintain manual or data base records.
- Input data accurately.
- Prioritize workloads.
- Provide admin support as required.
- Ensure that agreed timescales are adhered to.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Numerate and able to process complex data
- Good spreadsheet and Word skills
- Very good interpersonal skills
- Able to use initiative and exercise sound judgment
- Articulate and able to develop good working relationships with colleagues and clients
- Able to coach and mentor junior members of a team
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
- Able to use PowerPoint D
- Very strong understanding of relevant ERP system e.g. Oracle D
- Flexible manner and approach
£9.90 per hour
