Job Description

I have several exciting job opportunities for Childrens Residential Support Workers to join a lovely and supportive children`s service in NOTTINGHAMSHIRE which provides essential and valuable care to children and young people aged 8 to 17 years who have complex, mental health, and EBD needs.

To succeed in this role, you will ideally hold a QCF (Qualification Credit Framework) level 3 in Supporting Children and Young People.

OR

You will be a proactive and focused person looking to work towards a formal childcare qualification. Experience working with children in a residential, outreach, community or youth work would be beneficial. Or working with young adults with learning disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and making a positive impact on a child`s life. You will need to have an open mind and be able to support children who may act and present you with challenging behaviour.


The role of a children residential support worker can be hard and difficult at times however it is the most rewarding career when you know you`ve made a positive impact on a child`s life and future. You will be required to be flexible and undertake a variety of shift pattens, earlies, lates, long days and a maximum of 4 sleeps per month.


For your support and commitment, you will paid a salary of £ to £20,837 to £23,465 a year plus a SLEEP IN ALLOWANCE of £50.00 per sleep which can take your salary up by £2000


You will also get a holiday allowance and pension plan, as well as career development and the opportunity to complete your QCF Level 3 if you haven`t already got this.
