My client is looking to recruit a Residential Mental Health Team Leader to support a team of residential support workers. Your main focus will be to work within the service supporting & guiding those who have been discharged from psychiatric inpatient stays or secure children`s homes. You will become back of the team that have created a positive, friendly environment for young people in the pathway recovery, supported by the multidisciplinary team. All residents actively participate in the completion of their Mental Health Recovery programme and have individualised care plans in order to be supported to fulfil their goals and potential.
As part of the role you will provide the highest standard of care possible to all young people, closely following their individual care plans and programmes. You will take overall responsibility in conjunction with the Deputy and Registered Manager in ensuring the running of the home to the highest possible standards.
Our ideal candidate will have a level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care for Children & Young people. Experience of working within a residential service supporting children & young adults Ability supervising & directing staff Aware and and understanding of the Legislation and Guidance relevant to young people in residential care
This is a team time temp to per position paying £9.79 per hour equivalent to £19,080, 22-27 annual entitlement + statutory holidays Paid induction & training Company pension scheme Employee assistance programme Free onsite parking
Ideally you will be a car driver due to the location of this position.
