Job Description

My client is looking for a Residential Childcare Practitioner to join their lovely home and support the children and their families, you will be working in a 6 bedded mixed service

This company is an established provider of specialist clinically informed care and education in a therapeutic environment for young people with complex needs. They are a much smaller, bespoke organisation with a great emphasis on integrated practice - clinically informed Care and Education.

You will work as part of a team to provide high quality assessment and residential care for young people. You will be working in a therapeutic environment, to provide key work to specific children. This will allow you to build positive relationships with the young people, this is particularly rewarding when you see the difference you have made.

We are looking for candidates with a good sense of humour and who is a Non-judgemental person. We need someone who is flexible, punctual and reliable. This role would also suit someone that wants to progress in their career as there will be lots of training and staff development opportunities.

If you are a driver with a manual license, a Level 3 in Children and over the age of 21 with residential experience then you are our ideal candidate.

You will be working various shifts which includes sleep ins and generally will be working 2 to 3 shifts a week.
