Job Description

Several exciting opportunities have become available for Residential Childcare Workers in TELFORD.

These are full time roles, supporting young people in a residential setting to live safe and fulfilling lives.

You will work closely with an established team to provide a homely and welcoming environment for the young people who reside here. You will play a key role in care and support planning, the promotion of education and independent living skills, liaising with external agencies and act as a key worker for the young people you are supporting.

Working within OFSTED guidelines, you will work a 2 on, 4 off rota including sleep ins.

To be successful in this role you will ideally hold the QCF Level 3 in Supporting Children and Young People.


OR


You will have a wealth of relevant work experience (this could be within early years, education, community work, outreach, youth work or adults' services) and be working or willing to work towards a formal childcare qualification.
