Looking for additional work or to start a new role this year?


BS Social Care are recruiting for temporary Children and Young People Residential Support Workers in the Halifax area, for our well established client based in the HX3 area.


No two days will ever be the same, the roles we offer are varied and challenging so you must have the passion and knowledge for supporting vulnerable Children and Young People, helping to shape their future.


Your role will include monitoring progression, managing challenging behaviour, organising activities for the Children and supporting with general needs. This service requires 24 hour cover, so we do have both days and night shifts available.


There may be elements of Challenging Behaviour, so as a minimum we do require 6 months paid experience working in residential care with prior knowledge of CSE being essential. It is also advantageous you have an NVQ Level 3 in a related subject and a full UK driving license with access to your own vehicle.


You will require a full enhanced DBS to be considered for this role, however don`t worry if you do not already have one as we can process DBS checks at registration for a small fee of £46.


The pay rate will be a generous £9.00 for days and £9.50 for waking nights per hour, with holiday pay to accrue.

Shifts are on an ad-hoc temporary basis, we do require flexibility and commitment to booked shifts. As a standard, we do require a minimum of 2 days availability per week to meet the needs of clients and more flexibility means more opportunities to find you work!
