Residential Children's Worker

Here at BS Social Care we have spaces in an ongoing contract with a leading children's care provider in Bristol.

Your role will be to help excellent teams of staff while caring for children with emotional behavioural disorders. This will involve taking them out into the community, helping them with every day activities such as cooking and cleaning and encouraging them to live independently and engage with education and thinking into the future.

Hours are available from Monday - Sunday (days and nights). You can have flexible hours to fit around your other commitments such as another job or education.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of one years practical experience within the care sector and restraint training is desirable. Being a driver with access to your own vehicle is desirable but not essential. They will also have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
