I am recruiting for an enthusiastic, caring person who enjoys helping children and young people.

You will be working in a 24 hour childrens residential home helping them transition in to adulthood. Some of the duties you will be required to do will include
- Supporting the children and young people throughout their journey
-Supporting them emotionally
-Interacting with activities and community experiences
-Promote independence and carry out interventions
-Work closely with the service users to earn trust and give support

The site is based in York, so you must live within the area or be a car driver who can easily access the site. It is a temp to perm position so you have the amazing opportunity to stay in the job if you enjoy it. Yours hours will be 38.5 hours per week, with the bonus of learning as you work.

If you have a caring nature, positive attitude and a good support system, you could be the person we are looking for.

To be considered for this role it is a requirement to have at least 1 years experience within care. If not, we accept 6 months experience combined with a care qualification. It desirable if you own a vehicle and are a car driver, and are also on the DBS update service.

Your salary will be a generous £18,518.50 per year, with holidays to accrue. There are plenty of benefits within this role which include-
