Are you passionate about supporting children and young people? Are you experienced and committed to proving the best support and care? Then this may just be what you are looking for. I am looking for Residential Support Workers for a Children and Young Persons Residential Service in Northampton.

This is an independent service provider, whose owners have years` of experience running and improving care homes in the UK.

You will be supporting young people between the ages of 12 - 18 who exhibit challenging and/or sexualised behaviour. Some of the children may also have additional needs and you will be supporting them in line with their care plans.

You`ll need to be compassionate but resilient. Experience in de-escalation, restraint training are required for this role. Good communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly will also be advantageous to help make the young people feel more at ease.

It`s essential to have 12 months experience in Social Care as well as proven experience working with children or young people. An enhanced DBS of the update service is essential for this role, however we can assist with your application for this if you`d don`t already have one.

Shifts at this service are offered on a part time basis and will range from 08:00 - 23:00 or 22:00 - 08:30 Monday to Sunday. Good flexibility will enable us to give you more work.
