The role of the residential support worker is supporting young people within an EBD home. There are currently 2 young people with EBD and low level forensic backgrounds. Your role may change day to day depending on whether the young people are in the service or out in the community. Your role will be to attend appointments, domestic support and general safety and wellbeing of the young people.

The ideal candidate will be pro active, reliable and resilient. You will be supporting in a service which can present challenging behaviour so you must be able to de-escalate situations if they arise.

You will have experience working within the social care for a minimum of 1 year or 6 months with a relevant socal care qualification. If you have experience working with young people and feel you would make a difference then we would love to hear from you!
